    Egadi Islands2018-12-26T02:16:59+01:00

Located in western part of Sicily, few miles from Trapani, composed of Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, Formica and Maraone. You will enjoy crystal water and beautiful natural landscapes.

The smallest and least populated of the Egadi

It is a primordial island, that has maintained its habitat completely unchanged where plants and animals are living together with few residents, living a simple and relaxed life, involved on mushrooms harvest and fishing on the sea that protects them.

The most noisy residents are seagulls for sure, walking undisturbed throughout the streets. The town is characterized by a small port with blue water. Today we want you to discover this place.

The wildest and uncontaminated of the Egadi

A steep rocky mountain with great limestone cliffs plunging down into the sea define this, the most remote island of the Egadi group. Its doors open only for the more curious visitors arriving at its tiny harbour knowing that there are no hotels there. The only accommodation available is that offered by local fishermen and that consists of rented rooms.

Down in the harbour, many a local fisherman will volunteer himself and his boat to provide excursions to the numerous caves that nestle among the precipitous cliffs along the coast. The most striking include the Grotta del Cammello in which shelters a small pebble beach, Grotta del Tuono (Cave of Thunder), Grotta Perciata and, most notable of all, the Grotta del Presepio likened to a Nativity scene because of the rocks it contains fashioned and crafted by the wind and the waves.

For its composition, the island offers beaches and caves

Perfect destination for who loves beach, together with crystal water. You can find different types of beach: Cala Azzurra, Lido Burrone, i Calamoni
with gold and thin sand. Or Punta Sottile, punta Lunga, del Preveto, dei faraglioni, with sand and stones where you can observe wonderful sunsets.
Here you can also practice snorkeling.

Cala Rossa is known for his blue water and red rocks. Famous are even the caves like Grotta Perciata, Punta Fanfalo, or il Cavallo. You can also find water caves, by boat like Grotta dei Sospiri. Trying scuba diving is a must here, you will enjoy the beautiful underwater landscape, full of colors.
